- Millions of animals are killed each day but little know how they are being treated with unnecessary suffering
- The animals that are targeted in these acts are mainly horses, pigs, sheep, chicken, and cows
- Many at a time get transported still alive but in very tight and poor conditions, considering thats the meet we eat
- Thousands of those animals don’t make it to the slaughter house and die in transport due to disease, heat, lack of water and food, and most of all stress
- More then a billion live animals are transported each week many for as long as 70 hours packed together to soon be put to death

Why is this happening ????
The higher the demand for meat goes up will bringing in 2 billion farm animals each year with the lack of concern for the poor conditions they face. The live animal trade have quadrupled over the past 50 years leading to the cause of little care of these animals. These act go unnoticed by many because we only see the outcome of the food we eat.

Animals aren’t the only victims in live export
- Water pollution is a big concern because all the sewage coming from these animals is pumped directly into our oceans
- Anyone on board including the passengers and animals are at high risk of health problems and disease
- The long and packed journey to the slaughter can cause the animals to get salmonella or E. Coli and most fail basic hygiene they need in order to pass for human consumption
- Marine life is also impacted because any animal that dies in transit is disposed into the ocean, either full or bones and blood which attracts sharks
–Solution–
Converting live animal trade to frozen meat trade only could protect innocent animals for suffering each day and also create more jobs !
